VoiceboxMD is an advanced cloud-based medical dictation and ambient AI scribe solution designed to streamline clinical documentation for physicians. It passively listens to natural patient-physician conversations, automatically drafting structured SOAP notes and other clinical narratives that are ready for EHR integration. This allows clinicians to maintain eye contact and focus fully on the patient during encounters, rather than on typing or dictating into a device.

The platform utilizes a proprietary AI-powered medical speech recognition engine, trained on over 100,000 medical terms, drug names, and codes across more than 100 specialties. This ensures high accuracy (up to 99%) and adapts to individual accents, specialties, and dictation styles over time. VoiceboxMD is EHR-agnostic, functioning seamlessly with any EHR system that accepts keyboard input, including major platforms like Epic, Cerner, athenahealth, and Practice Fusion.

Beyond ambient scribing, VoiceboxMD also offers traditional medical dictation capabilities, allowing physicians to dictate notes between exam rooms using their mobile device. The drafted notes are then available on their desktop, structured to their preferred templates, and can be inserted into the EHR with a single click. This hybrid approach aims to significantly reduce documentation time, with users reporting savings of five minutes per encounter, enabling them to complete charts by the end of the clinic day.

VoiceboxMD prioritizes data security and privacy, adhering to HIPAA compliance standards with TLS 1.3 encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. A Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is included. The system is designed so that audio is deleted after processing and never used to train models, and clinical data is never shared, ensuring patient confidentiality.
