About Endure Capital
Endure Capital is a Cairo-rooted, US-connected venture firm operating across Africa and the United States, backing visionary founders building scalable, resilient companies in deep tech and life sciences. The fund writes checks in the $1M to $5M range across Pre-Seed, Seed, Series A, and selectively Series B, and explicitly includes biotech and AI in healthcare within its mandate. The dual Africa-US posture is distinctive: founders can access both Egyptian and broader African market context and Silicon Valley network density, which is unusual for an Egypt-headquartered fund. The right founder is technically deep, often building a deep-tech or life-sciences platform with credible international ambition, comfortable with a fund that values resilience and capital efficiency. Healthcare relevance includes clinical AI, diagnostic platforms, biotech assets at the early commercial stage, health IT software, and AI applications layered onto African or US clinical data. Founders pursuing capital-intensive consumer brands, pure care delivery brick-and-mortar, or short-cycle DTC should look elsewhere. Geographic and structural advantage is the bilateral network. For an Egyptian or African founder, Endure can shorten the path to US customers, US co-investors, and US Series A leads, which is the typical bottleneck for African deep-tech. For a US founder with African market potential, Endure can open doors that few US funds reach. Best entry is a warm intro from a portfolio founder, a regional co-investor such as Algebra or Disruptech, or a US life-sciences or AI co-investor. Cold inbound is read but conversion is lower at this stage of fund maturity. Lead the pitch with technical depth, IP or data moat, and a credible commercialization path. AI and biotech founders should describe regulatory positioning under FDA and the relevant African regulator, model validation and clinical performance monitoring, and how patient consent and data residency are handled. Caveats: Africa-US dual-mandate funds can stretch attention thinly, so confirm where partner time actually goes for healthcare deals specifically. Ask Endure about reserves, prorata in hard rounds, and which Series A and B leads have followed the fund into portfolio companies. Confirm the fund’s vintage and remaining deployment, and reference current portfolio CEOs on operating support and US introductions. Used appropriately, Endure is one of the more credible deep-tech and life-sciences partners for African and Egyptian founders with international ambition; for purely local healthcare service businesses, it is a less natural fit.
