iQMR
Overview
iQMR by Medic Vision is an AI-assisted MRI image enhancement technology designed to optimize magnetic resonance imaging workflows. It functions as a vendor-neutral, centralized network-based add-on system that seamlessly connects to all MRI scanners in an imaging department or practice via the DICOM network. The system receives fast-scan, noisy images from the MRI scanner, processes them using sophisticated AI-assisted iterative image reconstruction algorithms, and then transmits high-quality, enhanced images to PACS and/or other workstations. This technology enables a significant reduction in MRI scan times, up to 40%, while simultaneously improving image quality by reducing noise, enhancing contrast, and increasing the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The result is increased productivity, improved operational efficiency, and a better patient experience due to shorter scan durations and fewer repeat scans.

What Physicians Need to Know
iQMR can significantly reduce MRI scan times, potentially improving patient throughput and comfort, especially for lengthy protocols or patients prone to motion. The vendor-neutral nature allows integration with existing MRI equipment across different manufacturers. While enhancing image quality and SNR, it's important to note that the device processing is not effective for very small lesions (less than 1.5mm). Radiologists should leverage the improved image quality for diagnostic confidence and consider the potential for optimizing scan protocols to maximize departmental efficiency.
iQMR functions as a centralized, network-based add-on system that seamlessly integrates into existing radiology workflows via the DICOM network. It receives images directly from MRI scanners and automatically sends the enhanced images back to PACS and/or other workstations, ensuring compatibility with standard medical imaging infrastructure.
