OMOPHub

OMOPHub provides a hosted API for OHDSI OMOP vocabularies, enabling users to search, map, and resolve over 11 million medical concepts, including SNOMED CT, ICD-10, LOINC, and RxNorm, without the need for ATHENA downloads. It serves as a terminology layer for FHIR, OMOP, and healthcare AI, accessible through a single managed API.

The platform offers a comprehensive suite of API capabilities, including concept search with advanced filtering, semantic search using neural embeddings, cross-vocabulary mapping, and hierarchy navigation. It also features a FHIR Terminology Service and a FHIR to OMOP Resolver, facilitating the translation of FHIR codes to OMOP standard concepts and CDM target tables. OMOPHub aims to eliminate the overhead associated with managing vocabulary databases, providing production-ready SDKs for Python, R, and TypeScript.

OMOPHub is designed for healthcare workflows such as ETL pipeline integration, clinical research and analytics, EHR system enhancement, and AI/ML model development. It supports over 120 vocabularies, syncing with official OHDSI ATHENA releases to ensure access to the latest terminology updates. The service emphasizes healthcare-grade security, including end-to-end encryption, immutable audit trails with 7-year retention, and adherence to HIPAA and GDPR requirements.
