Claire is an AI clinical partner designed to streamline the pre-visit process for physicians. It engages patients through a conversational intake, available via phone call or online, in over 40 languages. Unlike fixed forms, Claire’s interview dynamically adapts its questions based on the patient’s responses, ensuring a comprehensive and personalized data collection. This intelligent system then organizes the gathered information into a structured medical history and relevant clinical context for the upcoming visit.
A key feature of Claire is its ability to prepare a draft note for the physician. This draft is based on the structured patient intake, allowing physicians to review, edit, and sign off on the documentation, maintaining full ownership and control over clinical decisions. Claire is not a scribe but rather an AI partner that optimizes the initial data gathering and documentation preparation, freeing up physician time for patient care.
Claire is designed for seamless integration with major Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) such as Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), OSCAR Pro, Accuro, athenahealth, and ModMed. This is achieved through a Chrome extension and agentic workflows, ensuring that practices can continue using their existing systems of record without disruption. The platform also supports the drafting of clinician forms, including WSIB and immunization documentation, for physician review.
Committed to data privacy and security, Claire is designed to support HIPAA, PHIPA, and PIPEDA requirements. It is currently available for use in both Canada and the United States, offering a robust solution for enhancing practice efficiency and patient experience.
